About:
The intestinal microbione impacts health throughout the entire human body. Because of this, it has become important to understand how it is built and maintained. The proyect concerns the study of human gut Bacteroidetes, which are prominent members of the gut microbionme. A pipeline to observe multiple genes by functionality tests, biochemistry and structural biology will be implemented to study putative intestinal colonisation factors in vitro. The succefull candidate will develop a project with state of the art techniques of molecular biology, mutagenesis and microscopy. The fellowship is for 2 years and it is available from July 1st 2019 but cannot start later than 1st of October
