The 21st International Virtual Congress of Microbiology

It is my great honor and pleasure to invite you to the 21st International Virtual Congress of Microbiology hosted by TUMS and Iranian Society for Microbiology (ISM).

This 4-day event will be held from the 17th until 20th of August 2020 at 11:00 AM (GMT) or 03:30 PM (Tehran Local Time), and includes four panels as following:

  • Panel 1: Emerging and Re-emerging Infectious Diseases (August 17)
  • Panel 2: Infection Control (August 18)
  • Panel 3: Mycobacteria and Tuberculosis (August 19)
  • Panel 4: Antimicrobial Resistance (August 20)

with contribution of 30 Speakers from 8 countries, among them:

  • Dr. Elmoubasher Abu Baker Abd Farag, Ministry of Public Health, Qatar
  • Dr. Daniela Maria Cirillo, San Raffaele Scientific Institute, Italy

  • Dr. Christian Giske, Karolinska Institute, Karolinska University Hospital, Sweden

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, our Congress will be held completely online this year and will attract more than 500 participants, to discuss and share experiences on different aspects of Microbiology. The webinar will take place within Zoom Application. Please be informed that Iranian participants are required to use V.P.N. to be able to connect to Zoom.
