Objective: To contribute to research in the area of Microbial Genomics and Bioinformatics.

Opportunity 1: Concurso de Investigadores Postdoctorado año 2021, Universidad Católica del Maule (UCM)

Requirements to apply:

• The applicant must be a woman.
• The applicant must have received her PhD in the past 5 years.
• The applicant must demonstrate experience and productivity* in the area of the proposed research.

• Cover letter, highlighting strengths, achievements and challenges that the applicant has overcome during her academic career.
  * A minimum of 3 WoS or SCOPUS publications in the past 3 years (extended by 2 years for women who gave birth from 2016 on).

Benefits:

• Fixed-term contract renewable yearly, with the respective labor rights.
• Monthly base salary of CLP 1,705,422 (~USD 2,260) plus productivity incentives (up to ~USD 1,330 per published manuscript as main author and ~USD 3,320 per project granted).

The successful candidates will also actively participate in graduate programs.
